John O. Hammer

My father was an art teacher and was always making something. Clay pots, sketches, mobiles from driftwood, mosaics from broken tiles. My big brother Gary and I were constantly building some kind of machine when we were kids. We restored a few Harley's as adults and worked on a lot of different things together . I guess art is in my blood.

I have been welding since 1985 and just had a hankering to start to make Artsy things after I became a single dad full-time. So Art and Fatherhood is just what the doctor ordered.
